The only way to make better work is with good feedback

Knowledge workers spend months perfecting work before showing it to anyone. Projects disappear into black holes of “almost ready” for quarters at a time. When they finally emerge, they’re often disconnected from what’s actually needed. Meanwhile, stakeholders grow increasingly anxious without visibility.

This “perfect then ship” mentality creates a deadly cycle: extended isolation → misaligned work → late-stage feedback → painful revisions → missed deadlines → lost trust.

Therefore…

Ship small, meaningful pieces weekly. Break large deliverables into “minimum testable ideas”: the smallest unit that can generate useful feedback. Share rough thinking with stakeholders early and often, using lightweight formats: one-pagers, mock-ups, prototypes, or outlines.
